Invisalign invisible braces are a life changing high technology teeth straightening solution and available at our Harley Street clinic. From minor tooth movements to complete smile transformations, Invisalign can provide you with a new smile to be proud of.
The benefits of Invisalign are numerous - they are easily removable so making oral hygiene easy (you can brush and floss as normal) and it means you need not make any changes to your diet. As a comfortable and discreet option and with no brackets or wires in sight, your friends and work colleagues won't even know you are having treatment. The results are amazing and a perfectly straight smile is typically achievable in between 12 - 18 months.
Some of the most common conditions that can be treated with Invisalign include overly crowded teeth, gapped teeth and bite issues - all conditions that can put excess strain on your teeth and make it more difficult to eat or speak.
Suitable for both teens and adults, our experienced dentists can offer the most appropriate Invisalign solution for you - whether Invisalign Full, mostly used even for some of the more complex cases, Invisalign Lite, for minor orthodontic cases such as slight overcrowding or one or two crooked teeth, Invisalign Teen, designed to compensate for the eruption of new teeth and Invisalign i7, which is for straightening just the six front teeth.
Invisalign utilises a series of bespoke aligners custom-made to fit perfectly around your teeth. A 3D virtual treatment plan, incorporating digital impressions of your teeth, is created with the use of advanced ClinCheck technology, so that you can see what your newly straightened teeth will look like through each stage of your treatment.
During the course of your Invisalign treatment, you will be provided with new aligners, each slightly different to the last. Wearing a sequence of custom-made aligners ensures that your teeth are guided gently into their required position over time.
Traditional fixed braces can often take between two and three years to provide nicely straightened teeth, whereas Invisalign is quicker - typically taking between 12 - 18 months. The length of your Invisalign treatment will depend on your own particular situation and our expert Harley Street dentists will and recommend your treatment plan and discuss with you.
What is Invisalign Treatment?
Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.
What are Invisalign clear aligners made of and what do they look like?
Invisalign clear aligners are made of flexible plastic — specifically, a patented thermoplastic material called SmartTrack created exclusively for Invisalign treatment.
How long will Invisalign treatment take?
Treatment times are different for everybody and depend on a number of factors. For instance, how complex your case may be and how compliant you are with wearing your aligners 20-22 hours per day. Your Invisalign Doctor will determine exactly how long your treatment could take based on your specific needs.
On average, Invisalign treatment time is 4 to 6 months, though you can start seeing results in a matter of weeks.
How will Invisalign treatment straighten my teeth?
Your Invisalign Doctor will create a unique, digital treatment plan that maps out the exact movements of your teeth. Your Invisalign clear aligners are then designed to apply the right amount of force to the right place at the right time based on your plan. Your Invisalign Dentist will be with you every step of the way to monitor your progress and ensure your aligners fit correctly.
Can I spread the cost of Treatment with Monthly Payment Plan?
We understand teeth straightening treatments aren’t the cheapest so we have provided flexbile payment plan to help you spread the cost.
Enclosed within your treatment report following your initial assessment with one of our dentist, we will provide a payment plan option for you.
Usually, the practice requires a third to be settled in advance to begin your treatment and the remaining sum can be spread over 9-12 months via direct debit monthly instalments. If you wanted to alter the proposed plan, speak with our Invisalign and principle dentist Dr Rena Uberoi, who would be delighted to help you.
How often will I change my Invisalign Aligners?
Your Dentist will outline how often you will be required to change to a new aligner and this can of course vary on each individual’s treatment plan.
On average, our dentists usually recommend changing aligners between one to two weeks at a time.
